The recycling process
The recycling process starts with batteries being cut up, shredded, and sieved. After that different materials are removed via leaching and filtering process from which we recover 95% of the valuable metals from the battery’s black mass such as nickel, manganese, and cobalt ions.
But now the question arises that why is it important to recycle batteries? It is necessary because this significantly reduces the dangers these batteries pose to human health and the environment by diverting them from landfills and incinerators.
